Tunnel Vision 35mm, 6 min
A hand made 35mm/digital film for The Light Brigade, an Anchorage-based art troupe. The Light brigade presented an intervention on the Alaska Railroad’s train to Whittier. As a surprise for train passengers, the Light Brigade projected Tunnel Vision on the Whittier tunnel wall. Tunnel Vision features hand-painted 35mm film, live action shots of dancer Becky Kendall, spawning salmon, footage of the Alaska Railroad, and photos by Ward Hulbert of Whittier’s abandoned army base. Tunnel Vision is about decay and memory, working it's way through winter, spring summer OR fall.
